How to Get Ready for a Junk Pickup: 5 Easy Steps

You booked your junk removal appointment. Now what? To make your pickup smooth and efficient, here are five simple steps to prepare.

Identify What’s Going
Walk through your space and tag or group items that need to go. Be clear about what’s junk and what’s staying, especially if we’re working in a garage, shed, or storage unit.

Separate Recyclables or Hazardous Materials (If You Want)
We’ll handle sorting, but if you’ve already grouped recyclable or special items (like paint, batteries, or chemicals), let us know—they may need separate handling.

Clear a Path
Make sure our team has easy access to the junk. Move cars, unlock gates, or remove small items that might be in the way. The faster we can load, the faster you get your space back.

Check for Donation-Ready Items
If you have things in good condition, let us know—we’ll do our best to donate on your behalf and keep them out of the landfill.
